Privacy
Short version: this site doesn't use cookies, analytics or tracking of any kind. I don't know who visits it.
This website
The site is plain pages on a server I rent from IONOS. Like any web server, it keeps standard access logs (your IP address, the page you asked for and when) for a short time, for security and to fix problems. I don't use them to track anyone, and there are no analytics or visitor statistics. IONOS's privacy policy covers how they run the server.
The fonts are stored on this site, so nothing loads from Google or anyone else while you read.
Buying
Checkout is run by Gumroad. When you press a Buy button, Gumroad's checkout opens over this page and Gumroad handles your payment details. I never see your card. Gumroad gives me your name, email address and what you bought, so I can send you the files and updates and answer questions. Gumroad's own privacy policy applies to the checkout: gumroad.com/privacy. Gumroad may set its own cookies when the checkout opens.
If you email me, I keep the conversation so I can help you. I won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask, and I won't sell or share your details.
The mailing list
If you sign up for news, your email address goes to MailerLite, the service that sends the emails. You get an email to confirm first, and you're only on the list once you've clicked the link in it. I use the list to tell you about new devices and big updates, nothing else, and I don't share it with anyone.
Like most email services, MailerLite can count when an email is opened and which links are clicked.
Every email has an unsubscribe link, or email me and I'll take you off. MailerLite's privacy policy is at mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy.
The sign-up box on this site is a plain form: it doesn't load anything from MailerLite or set any cookies until you press the button.
The devices
The devices don't connect to the internet and don't collect anything.
Your rights
You can ask me what I hold about you, or ask me to correct or delete it, at hello@fankleaudio.com. If you're in the UK and unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
